Integrity Office Equipment understands the need for quality print on a sturdy heavy duty label to identify a plant. We also understand that over a period of time, the stability of a label and print quality needs to withstand the processes of general orchid care, such as: direct or partial sunlight, humidity, water, fertilizer, and repotting. Integrity Office Equipment has discovered and modified two printer models for the use of printing on heavy duty industrial plant labels. Although Integrity Office Equipment has done a few parts conversions and adaptations such as, eliminating the "Double Prevention Feed" function, to accomodate the label application, these modifications are not endorsed, acknowledged, or authorized by the manufacturer. Integrity Office Equipment has done extensive testing on the equipment both on and off the field for its unique function. We also warranty our refurbished printers for 6 months. |
THE CONNECTED MODEL: The connected model is a printer that must be connected to a computer with a word processor application in order to print labels. This is done through a parallel printer cable or an ethernet network cable. Although we have found MS Excel to work the best for this application, any word processor application should work fine. |
THE STAND-ALONE MODEL: The stand-alone model is a printer that does not need to be connected to a computer in order to print labels. It prints on labels using the traditional "copier" method. A "typed" or "handwritten" original, placed on the copier's original platen glass, is used to make a copy printed on labels. Some find the stand-alone, non-connected model, a benefit because a computer is not needed. |
